I got into football betting like most people do — I watched too much football and eventually figured out I had strong opinions about what I was seeing. About a year ago I decided to actually test those opinions, writing down predictions before kickoff and checking back honestly afterwards. Plenty were wrong. But sitting with my own bad calls taught me far more than any tipster column I'd ever read. These days I focus on Both Teams to Score. BTTS appeals to me because it isn't a market you can crack by looking at one side in isolation — you're weighing attacking threat against defensive shakiness, then factoring in how the game itself is likely to unfold. I spend a lot of time on xG numbers, how high defensive lines sit, whether a keeper looks shaky, and the way managers shift their setup when they're chasing a goal or trying to see one out. Certain leagues are far friendlier to BTTS than others, and getting a feel for which is which has taken time, but it's been worth it. I write for BetTips VIP because the site rewards thinking things through rather than shouting confident picks, which fits how I work. Not every selection wins. What I can do is explain clearly why a fixture looks like a BTTS match to me, and leave the decision with you.
